**Q: Are these waterproof or not? Conflicting reviews!**
A: Hello,
I have bought these for years, I walk about 500 miles/year and these last about 2 years. I wear the tread out by then. They have a membrane in the uppers so your feet do stay dry even in drew grass.. I find that as long as I feed the leather occasionally this stops the leather cracking right through at the crease points which then cracks the membrane. Hope this helps.

**Q: What is the best way to clean and waterproof these boots please?**
A: We have waxed our boots from day one - and STILL after 6 months the waterproofing failed. The manufacturer could not care less when contacted - I'd look for a different brand of boots that live up to the advertising, as these boots certainly don't.
