I cut the blue ones off, wrap a layer of electrical tape around the handles, boil some water, dip the handles in the water and then slide them on. It takes some maneuvering to get them on but it gives you a meatier handle and the are extremely durable. The spring is the real reason I use this model. It makes using them ideal. Excellent product and quality from Klein. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone in need this type of tool.
