Great for the price, came as 2 pack
Ordered to use with a NORCO brand hospital bed that had railing but with a huge gap in the middle that my patient would crawl through. Used as a barrier to put between rails and bed. Can’t fully sit the bed up with these in place but they work great for sleeping in a mostly flat bed. Easy to wipe clean. Provides about 1.5-2” of padding.

Freedom
OMG. Very easy to assemble. Get the bumper pads for sure. I don't worry about her getting out of the bed or falling out, either. Easy to raise and lower rails. Only need to use one side. The other stays up. I used the box at the end between the mattress and footboard so she doesn't get the urge to try to slide to the end to get out. As I said in the chair strap review, she's 92 with dementia, but still slick with it. Everything fit perfectly, even the box.I can take a shower without listening out. I have cameras so I can see her, but it's such a relief not to be worried all the dern time. Freedom!!

Important safety upgrade to hospital bed
This product makes this class of hospital bed usable for safety concerns. Patient legs were getting tangled in the pipe walls and could have resulted in injuries.

They don’t fit in between the mattress and the rails. It is too thick.
They don’t fit in between the mattress and the rails. It is too thick. I’m not going to give a bad review because they are still nice and fit perfectly otherwise but I need pads that go down inbetween the mattress and bed rails because my dad (Alzheimer’s and Dementia) puts his arms under everything and holds on that way 🙄... great product but won’t work for me

I had to tie it to the rails to properly secure.
Velcro was just too far spaced out. I have bed rails just like in the photo. In order to keep the pad in place and stop Mother (who has dementia) from pulling it loose, I had to also tie them to the rails. The pads are so thick that I can't put both sides down between the mattress and the rails either. The back side is sitting on the top of the mattress and tied tightly so she can't accidently get her face down into any gaps. The front rail has to be lifted up and taken off of the bed every time I put her in or out of bed because it won't slide down with the pad on it. It's a little extra work but it's keeping her from getting bruises on her arms and legs from hitting the rails or trying to climb out through them. I also keep a monitor on her so she can be watched at all times.

You will need more padding.
Could have been a little larger and thicker. Dealing with those issues by adding even more padding. What can I say ?

Finally got some sleep
After breaking her hip, my mother wouldn't stay in bed. So I had to sleep next to her to make sure she didn't get up and fall again. The rails and padding worked for weeks and I could sleep in my own room. By the time she figured out how to crawl out, she was ready (as long as she stays with her walker....).

protects my mom’s legs from harm!
Excellent product! It protects my mom by putting a soft but firm barrier between her legs and the metal bars of the bed. Two times before this purchase she managed to get her legs caught to the point I was worried I would have to call firemen to get her out. I’m the process she wedged her leg so badly she scraped and bruised it quite badly. Since getting these pads there have been no such issues! Great peace of mind
