I have no way to measure Kelvin scale, and I have no reason to doubt the manufacture's claim that these bulbs are rated at 2700K. But, 2700K still appears plenty on the white-ish spectrum. The bulbs themselves are fine. I like the vintage look. The bulbs are bright, really too bright for what I'd prefer. 2w LED is supposed to be equivalent to around a 15w incandescent bulb. By itself 15w may not be a lot of light, but on a string with a couple dozen other 15w bulbs; there's a lot of light emitted. We purchased a dimmer pack (sold elsewhere on Amazon) and that allows the bulbs to be run at 25% (which is still more than enough light) power. The bulbs are plastic and I haven't had any break. Nor have any gone out after a long summer of regular use.
