A safe and conscious choice for skin
I am meticulous about nourishing my body, and my attention extends to what I apply to my skin. Recognizing that the skin absorbs everything we introduce to it, impacting our health either positively or negatively, I have found this sponge to be a game-changer. Not only does it effectively remove impurities, unclog pores, and eliminate excess oil and dirt, but it also leaves a refreshing sense of detoxification. The inclusion of a convenient hanging string adds to the practicality, making it easy to keep the sponge dry and clean between uses. Emphasizing the importance of being mindful of the products we use on our skin, I appreciate that this sponge is not only non-toxic but also eco and earth-friendly. It's a safe and conscious choice for those who prioritize the well-being of both their skin and the environment. Absolutely love it!

Edit: It’s a waste of money.
Doing an edit review. The first body sponge I had, somehow lasted longer than the rest of them. Afterwards, every one I had started to crumble within a week or so. To the point it would literally get EVERYWHERE, like sand or glitter, while taking my shower. Which, correct me if I’m wrong, but this defeats the entire purpose of the sponge itself. The face ones tend to last a little longer. But soon enough, they meet the same demise as the body sponge. It’s a quality issue. What’s more disappointing, both sponges felt and worked great, before they crumbled and fell apart. Then add the cost of $10 each (1 face & 1 body) just ads to the sorrow that has now become my shower experience. Their claim that it lasts a year’s worth is clearly not true.I have had different brand of this sponge before. Yet, never have I experience this… a sad spectacle of a sponge.

Functional And Very Soft
They arrived in a timely manner with nice packaging. The sponges originally looked rough, but when you soak them in hot water for the instructed amount of time, it became much softer than I expected.I've always had a problem with regularly exfoliating, so being able to use the sponges without any cleaning product is a huge boon. I've been using them regularly for a while, before bed and after waking up, and I've noticed a big difference in my pores. Each sponge has its own string that you can use to hang them up after use, which I like a lot.

Great for travel !
These organic Konica Body sponges are life !!! I use these only for travel ! I do prefer bigger body sponges only because it does better for all over the body . I wanted to try all the sponges before making a review to give my full opinion and I ran through about 2 sponges already ! They do get smaller and smaller and they do make your skin feel nice and smooth after ! It does mildly exfoliate the skin as well . My skin is so sensitive and I didn’t have a reaction or breakout to using these sponges at all. The only downside of these sponges is that I wish us was bigger to spread all over the body !!!! Other than that it does do the work !

Eco friendly?
So I like that these are biodegradable because I'm trying to be more eco conscious about my spending habits. They do however come in a plastic bag. I don't think the use of plastic is world ending, but it did seem like a waste for only 4 sponges. My first use I didn't have a hook for it so it got soggy and disintegrated really quickly because it couldn't dry completely between showers. So the next one I got a hook for and it dries up now so it's lasting longer. It expands to a decent size for my personal needs. It lathers my body wash way better than just using my bare hands, but maybe not as much as a plastic loofah?I think my main complaint with these is they are SO soft and I feel like I need to exfoliate apart from washing because if I'm not scrubbing a layer of skin off am I actually clean?

Soft sponge for body, hands, face etc
Super soft sponge pack. I like making DIY videos so I tried these for a manicure video and I really like the way it's porous, and once it's doused in water ( I used warm water with coconut oil) .. the sponge is really soft and nice on the skin. I've been using one on my face this week to see how my skin reacts, and it does not irritate like some materials do. I'm very sensitive, so I use very few products. I love almond soap, and coconut oil, and both worked well with this sponge.

Quality used to be better
I’ve been purchasing this product for a couple of years and have really enjoyed using it daily in the shower. However ever since they changed the packaging the product quality has decreased. They used to last a good 3-4 months before starting to fall apart but now I only get 1-2 months per sponge. It’s a shame. Might need to try another brand.

Added this sponge to my beauty regimen!
Have you tried a #Konjac sponge? The round exfoliating facial sponges are already a part of my beauty regimen {see pic 2}. Lately I've been using the larger exfoliating konjac sponges which are for the body & I am loving them!Exfoliating is important to rid the body of dead skin cells. A few times weekly in the morning is enough for me. This sponge expands a little after soaking in warm water for a few minutes {see wet/dry comparison in pic 3}. Only a little cleanser is needed. I use African Black Soap or Dr. Bonners Castile Soap. A little cleanser goes a long way because the sponges are already infused with bamboo charcoal which also helps to clean and protect the skin.Sponge ingredient:"Made using the fibre from the root of the Konjac plant, it’s naturally rich in essential minerals, vitamins and amino acids."*Sponges need to be replaced after two months. The facial sponges come in a 6-pack, body sponges in a 4-pack.Definitely worth trying them both!
