Came in great condition. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great DVD release *by M***E on January 7, 2015* UPDATE Would like to add on to this review as there are countless Amazon reviews alleging this is not the original Workout. The DVD/Digital titled "Jane Fonda's Original Workout", with Jane in a red/pink striped leotard and purple leg warmers IS the original Workout. That is the first video released in 1982. The exercise program was also released as an album/audiotape - similarly the end of April 1982 - but the music contained in the album/audiotape was NEVER released on home video. There is no mis-marketing that this is the original Workout because it is exactly that. To be technical, this program was released a few days prior to the album/audiotape. Some reviewers are complaining that it's not the Workout Challenge or another video - this is not advertised to be a video other than the original Workout. If you are thinking of a video where Jane is NOT wearing a red/pink striped leotard with purple leg warmers, leading separate beginner and advanced Workouts, you are thinking of another video and NOT the original Workout. If you are listening to the program on DVD and are having trouble listening to vocals and only hearing music - you must ensure your audio cables for both left and right audio are connected to your DVD player and the TV. If you are only connecting one audio cable, it is likely the reason why you cannot hear vocals. The original Workout was recorded with dual channel audio - the left audio channel was music with instructions and the right audio channel was for music only. This allowed for consumers with the RCA VideoDisc player to choose if they wanted instructions with the music or just music. If you are connecting your DVD player to a TV and do not have the left audio channel ports connected, you will only hear music. Like many of her other videos, the cover/product image does not show her in the outfit she wears in the video. The cover image is the same image used on its original VHS, Beta, CED and LaserDisc releases, which was the same photo used for the original book that started the whole Workout series, as well as the album/audio cassette. Original review from 2015: The DVD presents the Workout with a great picture and sound quality. The video quality is a marked improvement even over the LaserDisc, which up until the DVD release was probably the best quality print of the Workout. Those who may recall the RCA videodiscs from the 80s may remember this Workout on that format, and how you could listen to either the music and Jane's voice or just the music when using the audio selector on the stereo player models. While this disc is technically not dual-audio with a music-only option, if you are able to isolate the audio to just listen to the right audio track, you could, indeed, have the Workout with music-only. Maybe a minor plus for some, but for fans of this program I think it's a nice feature if your DVD/TV allows for audio separation or if your computer video player can play one side track (I use VLC player on my Mac). The Easy Going (Prime Time) DVD also works similarly - the other 3 have stereo sound but not one designated music-only side. The menu breaks the workout down by class and has an introduction from Jane on the popularity and demand for this and the other recently released videos. Each class has chapter breakdowns so that you are able to access or jump forward by segment, as well.
