Baja Bob's Original Margarita Mix, Sugar Free, 1.7-Ounce Packets (Pack of 4)

When my box arrived, I tried out this mix to see if it was going to be the same weak concoction that all mixers seem to be. Not so with this mix! I was surprised at the strenth of flavor! Now, I want to say that I make "Rum-ritas" with 151 rum. So the strength of the alcohol usually washes out any flavor a mix would have. I could not taste the rum like I do with other mixers! And while this may be good for me, all guys know that a drink has to have good flavor for the girls! Also, I can take this mix overseas and pack it in my suitcase because it is in powder form. And lastly, it is a great idea for those of us on the Atkins or low carb diet. They say that there will be more flavors coming soon.

Good, but not great. If you are living a sugar free lifestyle, then this is a great alternative to the sugary mixes sold in the stores. We were going on vacation and wanted to alternate this with the sugary mixes, but found ourselves not using this one. Kinda pricey for what you get.

ON THE ROCKS, WITH THREE PARTS BAJA BOB'S AND ONE PART TEQUILA HARD NOT TO TASTE THE SPLENDA. STILL EXPERIMENTING, HOWEVER ONE PART TEQUILA, ONE PART REGULAR MIX AND TWO PARTS BAJA BOB'S SEEMS TO TASTE CLOSE TO THREE PARTS REGULAR MIX AND ONE PART TEQUILA, YET CUTS SIGNIFICANT CALORIES.

I have used this product for years and I love the taste - I understand that it may be too tart for some people. The reason I don't give this a 5-star rating is that the photo of the back of the package is wrong. This photo shows zero calories and and zero carbs when the actual package shows 10 calories and 4 grams of carbs per serving. While this may not sound like much, it can have a big impact on a low-carb diet, especially if you think it does not count towards your daily carb intake. It is also quite expensive for what you get. I'll save the packages I have for the occasional splurge in the summer, but won't be using it as frequently as I have in the past.

I purchased this several years ago in looking for a margarita mix. I'm sorry to say I can't review it because I never actually used it - it was put on a shelf and got lost, so, it's not possible to say good or bad.

We have been using Baja Bob's for over 5 years. This is by far my family's favorite margarita mix. It is frequently sold out at our local store especially on long holiday weekends, so we bought some of this to keep on hand. It isn't syrupy or sickly sweet like other mixes; it has a deliciously tart taste that packs a punch. We aren't carb counting or dieting, we simply like Baja Bob's because it tastes the best. I like to add a splash of carbonated water from my SodaStream to make a fizzy margarita on the rocks. Perfecto!

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was not good. I threw away the other 3 packages. I give it an extra star because it shipped on time and it is exactly what it says- it just does not taste real at all. Try Jose Cuervo Light at the grocery store. It is delicious and has 2g carbs per serving and costs less. I wish I had looked there first.

I was a bit skeptical when I first ran across Baja Bob's sugar free margarita mix. I decided to take the plunge based on the positive reviews and the desire to cut back on the sugar and calories in my drinks. I am extremely pleased to say the least. I followed the directions of 3 parts mix to 1 part tequila but this was a bit too weak for my liking. I changed it to 2:1 and was in heaven. I couldn't even tell the difference between this and my sugar filled Jose Cuervo mix. I will be buying again. Highly recommended.
