I don't see a reset button.** A: You have to push and hold the UV Control Button for 5 seconds to reset the Filter Change indicator. **Q: do we only need this filter? it has the black and white part? or do we need to buy another one?** A: Yes you do need to buy another one...But if you keep cleaned off it will last about a year...I love mine so much bought another one ,because I live in 2,000 sq ft... **Q: Can the pre-filter be sprayed off with water? We use it next to the cat litter box and it gets dusty fast!** A: I don't recommend it. The filter will crumble and fall apart (i've tried!). What I normally do is get a disinfectant wipe and wipe the filters down. I have cats too and mine is also relatively close to the liter box. **Q: how often do I change filter?** A: I thought the sign signal would come up to replace? Or you just replace without the sign coming up? I had mine for more than a year and I haven't changed the filter because the sign never came up?
