Bit of a fight but OK. - Fitted K4 full control perfectly and this replacement part has been upgraded to metal (in act of guilt for the dreadful plastic molded original?) by Karcher. Bear in mind before you get over confident 1) The yellow plastic case is a mare to put back on - has little tabs everywhere 2) the tiny plastic power switch arm is attached to a hugely heavy motor. Put it down wrong when open and it WILL snap. Moderate to hard DIY difficulty all over because its a "muddle". Good videos on you tube. If you were doing it twice hey no problem. Its just a challenge to the unwary / first time fixer. If you are confident go for it as will save a lot of money. And if you do break that power arm - which you hopefully won't now I have told you to watch for it - turn the internal switch on with a screwdriver, leave it on and use the mains as your main power on/off. It's not worth cutting a waterproof switch into the mains lead for. And how do I remove and fit this** A: Yes it fits K4 (replaced when plastic one split), didn't use big black plastic bit as old one okay. To remove broken component (prior to fitting new metal one) remove metal "staple" with a screwdriver, it's a tight fit but it comes out with a wiggle, then simply swap over (push in tight) and replace "staple". **Q: Does this not come with the pin that locks the hose into the metalic elbow?** A: Hi, I am afraid it doe not that is a separate part Karcher part number: 9.039-336.0 Thanks **Q: My hose keeps detaching from the washer?** A: we had a similar problem you have to make sure the clip is in the right place the hose does not push quite as far as you think **Q: What lubricant should be used where the metal part meets the plastic nozzle exiting the pressure washer?** A: i didn't use any lube, just fitted the new elbow in place and it is still working perfectly today (8 months later) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I got it working.
