I’m glad I opted for the 99 cent Kindle version because I thought this book would have more recipes. Nothing much here for tequila or tiki drinks. Very little for classic cocktails.

This is awesome. All sorts of charts and graphs, tips, tricks, recipes, and stories. I'm a long-time bartender and can also see how this book would be help-full for the home enthusiast. Beautifully illustrated as well. Well done!

Given that it is arranged by type of spirit, it is very useful for trying to find a new or unique drink with the liquor you have available. Some basic bartending knowledge is needed as there is no instruction, just recipies.Great book.

Just what I was looking for...fun recipes that aren't overly complicated and don't have lots of obscure ingredients.

Bought this for a white elephant gift along with a bottle of vodka and everyone loved it and stole it from each other!

If I could do less than a star, I would. Words are spelled wrong, grammar is horrible, on cheap construction paper and there’s no color or pictures inside.

This is a really basic cocktail recipe book. Nothing new in this that I haven't seen in other books.

Good book to have around when making special drinks

Definitely the best cocktail recipe book I've ever bought, worth every penny! I enjoy putting on the odd soiree for my friends, family and business associates, being a good host is very important to me and nothing goes down better than a splendiforous array of exquisite cocktails! It truly makes the evening. Of the cocktail books I have, I would recommend this one to anyone, it is considerately laid out, simple and easy to follow instructions and absolutely delicious results! Top marks.

Very inspirational! The book starts off with a bit of history about cocktails and continues with explaining various types / categories of cocktails as well as bar & mixing techniques. There's a wide range of cocktail recipes, from classic ones to more exotic - delicious drinks for every occasion and every taste, with clear and precise instructions; you cannot fail to follow the recipes detailed in this book; very easy to replicate.P.S: I love me some "The princess and the Pirate"!

Oh my goodness! I’ve never tasted such delicious cocktails outside of a bar! This little book is great, I had a small get together, and instead of being boring and giving everyone regular drinks, I decided to become a cocktail waitress for the night. I made each and every beverage in the book, and they went down a treat, my friends loved them and were very impressed with my skills thanks to the genius idea of the author to write a book like this.The recipes are simple to make, there are no specialised ingredients, you can get them all from your local supermarket. You will need a few utensils such as a bar spoon and a cocktail shaker, but the book will let you know what to buy just in case you don’t have it. It also gives you a little history on cocktails which is really interesting and was a good talking point at my party. I highly recommend this book; you will have a blast making and tasting these delightful cocktails!

From "Aroma" to "Zombie" via Missionary' Downfall this is a really handy recipe book. It helps with the selection of ingredients and the equipment you need to make great cocktails. I found the history section intriguing as well and I'm sure the advice on how to select spirits will be useful!

I got the Kindle version and I found the introductory text and the recipes easy to read and informative. I have managed to make one cocktail so far, the knees bees, simple because it was the only one I had all the ingredients available. There are many more recipes to chose from :). I attach a photo to give an indication of what the book looks like on my ancient kindle.Apart from a few minor formatting issues and the lack of pictures, the e-book version is quite comprehensive.
