## Description

Combining dramatic bass response with the excellent balance and accuracy for which Focal speakers are traditionally known, the Chorus 716 V is the middle sized floorstanding model in the 700 V series. It features a 2-1/2 way design in which the two 6-1/2-inch woofers work in tandem, with only the higher unit also reproducing the midrange (each woofer's low-pass crossover is configured for a different frequency). The result is rock solid bass and a wide, deep soundstage. Thanks to the improved suspension and magnetic structure in the 1-inch Focal inverted dome tweeter, the 716V elegantly reproduces the extended highs from vinyl, SACD and high-res downloads. The two 6-1/2-inch Polyglass bass drivers are very light yet extremely rigid, for great midrange and tight bass response. The Chorus 700 V Series Focal is known for cutting-edge loudspeaker design. Focal engineers used expertise gleaned from the development of their reference loudspeaker (the $90,000 Grande Utopia BE) in the creation
