A: Don’t know where it’s made but it holds my S&W 9mm loaded very well

**Q: Is each magnet capable of holding 30 lbs, or is that figure based on the use of both of the magnets that come in this package?**
A: Yes....each magnet is capable of holding 30 pounds.

**Q: I strictly carry 1911's.  Will it hold a 1911 without slipping off or moving???**
A: I have a Rugger 45 cal pistol. Not sure about a 1911 but it does hold my Rugger just fine.

**Q: Whats the diameter of the screws or the holes for the screws on the mount?**
A: The screws are small.  A little smaller than a drywall screw.  They are also soft.  They are sufficient for the purpose, but could be replaced for a better screw.
