Review: Does the job well! - I used these on both 9x13 and 8x8 square pans and they worked very well. I tucked the ends in while they were still dry and just made them loose (larger than the pan size). After soaking them for about 15 minutes in cold water I put them around the pans and was able to tighten them easily. I had to put 2 of them together for the 9x13 pan and the remaining ends were just hanging, so next time I may use a small binder clip, but they didn't burn and did the job they were meant to do. Both cakes came out very nice and even, which was perfect because I was putting a cream layer and then a poured frosting on them. The cakes were for a party away from home, so I used disposable aluminum pans for both. Just for reference, they were a Duncan Hines cake mix, made normally as per instructions, and I baked them at 325 for approx 25 minutes.

**Q: I tried once but I don't know it worked. Anyone can explain the right way of using it?  I used 9" round and 1.5 in. deep cake fan.**
A: Hi, I used them on a Wilton 9"x2" springform pan. Maybe my mystake on using a sprinform pan. I followed the instructions, they do not say anything about the springform pan. Cake came out with dome, cracked in the middle, undone in the crack. Threw it out!!! The strips were starting to get burned in the inside too, I do not know why, because I followed all the instructions on how to prepared the strips, threw them too. Hope this helps

**Q: Has anyone tried these with cheesecakes?  Do they cut down on cracks?**
A: I bake ALL of my cheesecakes in a water bath.  It makes an ultra creamy cheesecake with no cracks.  Take 2 large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil and wrap around springform pan.  Place pan in larger pan and pour boiling water to about 1/2 way up pan or a little more.  I always add about 10 minutes to the recommended baking time.  With a water-bath it doesn't hurt if you over bake it a little.  When time is up turn off oven and leave in for 1 hour then remove and place on wire rack to completely cool.  Run knife around edges to loosen cake from sides.

**Q: With a 12 x 18 x 2 inch Wilton pan, when you cinch to tighten & have the extra strip part that goes past the fabric loop, do you just leave it loose?**
A: there are two loops.....one that is stationary and the other moves.... just move that loop to the extra fabric, put it through and it will hold that in place

**Q: Do you have to extend the baking times when using these wraps.**
A: No, just bake as usual.  You'll love these.
