This AC to DC converter eliminated all of the flicker, producing a relatively smooth DC output. The product description says waterproof. For that reason, I am leaving it exposed to weather. It's already been rained on a few times with no effect yet. Hope that remains true. Hook up was easy. The unit specifies that max wattage output. Be mindful of that when selecting a converter to be sure you have sufficient wattage to match the draw. I'm drawing less than half the max, so I anticipate a long life. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for a LED strip *by R***N on September 1, 2022* I had old 12V kitchen under cabinet lights which consumed 150W of power through a 120V->12V transformer, and I did a little project to switch them to the LED light strips.
