**Q: How tall is the 6qt container?**
A: 8 inches with the lid on

**Q: I received this and it has bpa warning stickers. apparently polycarbonate has bpa in it. anybody want to comment whether that matters?**
A: I ordered the square 6-qt food container and it came with the warning sticker. I called Cambro and they said they have no idea why some sellers are putting these on their products. They assured me that the food containers are food safe. Also look on the bottom, there should be a NSF message engraved in the plastic that certifies it safe for food.

got this to do the stretch and fold process for sourdough bread. like that it has measurements to see the process of rising. i use for a two loaf bread. a bit big but the 4 qt. size is too narrow. like also that it has a lid so don't need to cover with plastic wrap or a towel.

I have a couple of 6 Quart containers and this one is one is my favorite.  Why is hard to say, I feel the others are more brittle? hard? IDK?  I thought this was a bit pricy but I'd buy again and will, next time I need another 6 qt.  Goes great the FWSY book by Ken Forkish :D

I purchased this and tried to cancel the order (but failed) because I didn’t think I would use it.  I’m new to sourdough and thought the smaller bowl I have would work. Wrong!  This is perfect for fermenting your dough.  Easy to clean and store.
