Modern South Asia: History, Culture, Political Economy

I wasn't a fan of this required textbook for an Asian Studies class. I enjoyed reading some of it, but the information seemed repetitive or uninteresting for the majority of the readings.

I was satisfied with the book for the price, plus I found the book very informative for the class I was taking.

The item arrived exactly as I expected so well-done.

A bit tough for someone with no background but informative and interesting.

Had to buy it for Indian course in university, poor quality washed out print and even worse black and white (well grey actually) photos. No colour

Book gives an idea of History of South Asia in a very concise form. The book is a well researched and articulated work by two eminent historians.

Wonderfully comprehensive and analytical history of modern south asia is simply depicted in the book. Nice reading it.
