I purchased two sets of these light over twelve months ago and decided to purchase a further set as I am more that satisfied with the quality and value for money. However, there are several similar sets but with a subtle difference, in that the connectors (to joins sets together ) have to be compatible. Mine are as depicted in the photo (perfectly round male/female and that is what I ordered on two occasions. On each occasion I have been sent lights with totally different connectors, the difference being the ones i receive have a small flat section at the bottom of the male and the female having a gap between where the male prongs insert. This is the second time I will have to take time to re-wrap, go to the post office, queue up... all of which wastes my time unnecessarily. I was hoping to have these for a garden function I am planning but may now have to re-think my options.

This item did not work. I made two attempts at plugging the item on and each time it blew the electricity and some of the bulbs exploded.

This a great little addition to our garden around the hot tub.I cannot complain at all, you get a lot of lights. They all come well packaged and have a nice long cord on them.They have a sort of retro style to them but have a nice amount of ambient lighting to set a nice chilled mood.I would highly recommend these!

I bought three sets of these in 2019 as they looked great, but wish I didn't. A couple of the spare bulbs didn't work but we never realised how fragile they were either. You have to be SO careful not to knock the bulbs against anything to avoid them shattering. I certainly wouldn't recommend them for outdoors for this reason.The bulbs also get really hot which makes me wonder how safe they are. When I took them all out of their boxes for Christmas this year. 2 of the bulbs blew instantly in one set and one of the plugs doesn't work in another - despite changing the fuse. I really don't recommend these at all.

For the cost I expected more...plugged them in and they worked fine, started to attach to fencing and they went off...changed the fuse and they came back on. Then noticed 6 of the bulbs don’t work! Includes just 5 extra and 3 extra fuses and now I know why! Also noticed that the bulbs immediately on plugging in get hot super quick. Really disappointed...wouldn’t recommend

I bought two of these to string around the conservatory, when I received them the bulbs were all working, by the time I had put them up two bulbs had stopped (good compared to some reviews) and by a week later another three went.The only other downside is the length of wire between the plug and the first bulb, meaning that you have to be either quite lucky about your plug location or to remove a few bulbs or to have bulbs leading up to where you want to start the decoration.It's a shame about the two issues above, because the product is otherwise great. The weight is light so they can hang from small hooks, the amount of light with the string around the room is equivalent to the main bulb, so you can use the pretty lights as your main light. Replacement bulbs are cheap enough.

These lights are really pretty, have a warm, not too bright glow and I really like them but they are SO delicate and easy to break. I broke one bulb when I first hung them and put that on me as I lent against one by accident. I had to move them yesterday to let my landlord get access to the back of the house and as I was putting them back up I lay half the sting of light onto the ground (i didnt drop them) and another smashed. They do provide spares but the glass is very thin and is very hard to clean up so just bare that in mind. I wouldnt chose these specific ones if you have small children/pets etc.

We bought these for a birthday party but on the day of the party we plugged one of the two sets of lights into an indoor plug socket and it blew the socket and the entire circuit which included all our kitchen appliances.. fridge, freezer, etc. We had no choice but to call in an electrician to sort out the circuit which was not ideal two hours before a party. I read some of the other reviews and others have had a similar issue and wish I'd taken note. Please stay well clear of these lights. Not happy! They are going back!
