Review: These work on sub-compacts too. - This also fits a Smith and Wesson 1900 Pro Series, which is a sub-compact. EZ install: nothing other than remove the original grips, put these on, then put the original grips back on. I love the way it changed the feel of the grip. Highly recommend.

**Q: Why won’t amazon ship this to califonia? There are no legal restrictions on this part...**
A: No problem if you go to the competitor that starts with an "e" they ship them to California no problem.  They are a dollar more with free shipping.

A: The "Grips" are just the finger grooves on the front. There are thinner sides that lay under the original grips.  The grooves do a nice job of assisting the grip and if you prefer that style, rather than rubber grips all around, you will like these.

**Q: Will this fit on a Kimber Micro?**
A: Not for a Micro, it will fit a compact 1911.

**Q: Does this fit on a sub compact 3.5inch 1911?**
A: I have a rock island compact 3.5 inch 1911 will it fit.
