Will it burn them if it's to close? Thank you for any information!** A: I can get 1 to 2 inches from baby annuals. I also use mine too warm and encourage sprouting seedlings. The lense of the light is warm to touch, however the housing is hot to touch. **Q: Will this stand up by itself without clamping it onto something?** A: No it will not. It is exactly as it is shown, but it is clamped onto a table. I have it clamped to a mirror. **Q: Are replacement bulbs hard to find? If the light does not require replacement bulbs, how long does the plant light last?** A: I have looked very closely @ the two lights & do not see a way of removing the bulb covers, so I do not think these can be replaced, however, they are LED bulbs & should last for a long time. If you are worried about the loss of light, I would order another set of Grow lights. I have had three of these around my home for supplemental lighting on some plants for the last 6 months. I do run them on timers for 12 hours a day to meet my plants needs. It’s hard to find such flexible warm white lights, and I find they add great ambience to my home that doesn’t get enough light in a lot of places. My main complaint is that two out of the three of them have quickly developed a flickering bulb when on the highest light settings. I have turned them to the lowest settings and the flicker isn’t present, but I’m disappointed in this longevity issue. I suppose they are inexpensive enough and are getting high use, but they’re not the type where I can just replace the bulb, I have to get a whole new set.
