Didn't cause irritation but definitely dried out my skin a little, which I should have expected because of the slightly higher salicylic acid content. Even though it was easy to apply and my makeup went smoothly over it at the beginning of the day, my biggest issue with it was that my makeup didn't still look good over it a few hours later, so I will not be buying the full-size product.
