Pumped over 20 gal/min. I believe with zero head and 1 1/4 inch hose it would have pumped the rated capacity. The pump was on sale for about 40usd. I have seen this same pump in my local farm discount store for 119usd. I don't know about the longevity, but if this pump holds up it is a great buy. Pumps water like crazy.
