Salt Water Sandals by Hoy Shoe Surfer Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid/Women's)

Great kids sandals, fit great and look cute. So practical for the water and out of the water. The buckle might be an extra minute to get on a little foot, but they can't get them off so it was a win for me. No shoes thrown off in the car!

These sandals are indestructible. My son wore these the whole summer in water, dirt and everyday play. They are still in perfect condition and can be saved for my next son.

My son loves his second pair of these salt water sandals (any my daughter has had many pairs/styles, but currently loves hers as well). They go with anything, and seem to hold up really well. Of course there is a buckle to deal with instead of velcro or a slip on, but the aesthetic is, in my opinion, worth the added time to buckle. It also forces children to learn, my daughter was proficient at buckling them herself around her second birthday. My son is less interested at 2.5, but he's cool with taking a moment to let someone else help him out. I wore the classic style growing up, and my daughter has had a few of those as well, but these are nice for the ability to adjust near the toes and I also think boys look nice in the navy of this style. These are great and made more comfortable by some time in the water, usually I try to get the kids in water as soon as possible to help break in a new pair. The price seems reasonable as well for kids shoes that will last from child to child (we've passed ours on, worn hand me downs, etc.).I expect we will continue buying these for years to come.

The media could not be loaded. With the summer coming up, I really wanted to get my 10 months old daughter some cute sandals. I jumped on my favorite shopping site--Amazon--and ordered several pairs of these Salt Water sandals. I was totally excited for them to arrive, but when they did, they were enormous. What I learned: 12M does NOT mean 12 months--it means 12 medium or something. I shipped them back and had to pay $6 for each pair to ship back. So, so, so disappointing for a mom who watches her budget like a hawk. Don't make the same mistake I did--order your shoes from Zappos! Free shipping both ways!UPDATE2 years later...we have bought this sandal every summer for our daughter. I love that they have multiple colors on them, so they match just about every outfit that she has. They have held up really, really well as well. Our second daughter has been using the sandals after our first daughter is finished with them and they still look like they're almost new! We are really very pleased with them and will probably continue to buy this pair every year for as long as their feet fit into them!I made a short video so you can see how they look and fit.

I purchased these sandals for my two year old granddaughter. The sandals are adorable, and getting a good fit was easy with the two different buckle points. She has very round looking feet, and it can be difficult fitting shoes on her at this age. The leather on these was extremely stiff right out of the box, and it took several wearings to get them to soften up enough to be able to wear them all day. We massaged coconut oil into the leather to try to soften them up, and got them wet to get them to fit perfectly. They did cut a bit into her tender foot skin when first wearing them, but now that they are broken in, they are comfortable for all day wear. I anticipate them lasting throughout the warm season, and looking great until fall. The silver color is beautiful, and goes with everything.

A classic reorder for me! They last forever and hold their value if you take care of them.

These are the best shoes! They look nice and can go in and out of the water, can even be washed in the washing machine but they are real leather. Will order more for an upcoming holiday.

Salt Water Sandals with the thicker sole are an excellent school shoe. My daughter has only ever worn them to school and I buy a pair every year for school. She is rough on shoes but you can't tell with Salt Water Sandals at all. They stand up to any 5, 6, 7 and beyond years of a child's active play in the playground. Also her feet are narrow and being able to adjust them in really tight adds to the amount of time she can wear them for. But if your child had a wide foot you could adjust to fit. Highly recommend!

These sandals fit my son perfectly. The only thing I would change is split leather insoles. We do prefer genuine leather as a more natural material.
