They are expensive yes, but you can expect years of use. What I love is that they are super strong and yet also subtly soft. The plastic is very strong but not brittle and hard. I can load up with lots of different arrays of seedlings fully potted up and watered, without feeling like the tray will tear, bend, or break.At on point I reordered and the company had changed the production process to a worse product. Thankfully the company responded to negative feedback and have gone back to the original manufacturing process that yields an exceptional product.The deep mesh trays that fit these trays are also excellent!If you want to buy trays once, these are the ones to buy. And no they didn't pay me to say any of this. The problem is they are not flat. I stack this tray in another 1020 without holes and bottom water. Since the middle of the tray is higher in relation to the ends of the tray the water distribution is not even over the length the tray. All 10 trays in the pack have the same issue. So far, my request for information or resolution has gone unanswered. Bootstrap Farmer, these trays sell at a premium price.
