One upside of not putting the support bracket in place is the slide is easily foldable. I had to lean into the slide and pop the bracket in. **Q: What's the difference in this and the regular little tikes slide?** A: I think the difference is the looks and build. This one has a chunky look to it, I thought it looked like it would be more sturdy and stable than the Little Tikes First Slide. However, I am sure either one is great.
