The old one had to be replaced because the hose wore out and was no longer flexible. I had a new sink put in and the contractor who told me to order a faucet on Amazon installed it. He likes working with this brand. I picked one that was simple and well-priced, and I am very please. It's only been a few days but the hose is so easy to use and the buttons that control the spray are discreet. You can turn it so you see the controls or turn it for the clean look. The control handle goes up for hot and down for cold, moves easily, and also adjusts the pressure by going out to the right for more power. This handle is also easily manipulated, just as the hose/faucet is. This finish looks best in my kitchen but it's good to have choices. This is a solid faucet, sturdy, and functional.
