Works as advertised
Design is good and metallic look matches with Mac or any ultra book laptops. Had no issues getting it detected in my laptop while connecting through USB C connector. Tried couple of movies and they load pretty fast compared to my old usb drive. Slot feature work well. The touch button for ejection look ok, couple of times I have to touch twice to get it working. While loading the mechanical parts make lot of noise (as the traditional bay drives).

Great item!
I have had an Apple external CD reader to read CD's on my iMac and that piece of equipment would every so often read the CD, and then kick it out. Sometimes the CD would not eject except I held the unit upside down. How happy I was to purchase this, it read every CD I plunked on it, even the CD's the Apple unit refused to read. I am really happy with this deal.

Light weight
Color-wise, it met with my MacBook Air. The drive has a very light weight. Easy to use (plug and play) to burn music into and create your own cd.

Used a few times, ate my CD
knew this would be a cheap drive but decided to ry it anyway. Always made some weird noises but worked for a while. I just ripped a new CD no problem, went to put in another brand new CD and it took it but just kept spinning and trying to read it. Restarted my PC hoping that'd help and it kept trying to read through the restart since power was still going to it. Unplugged it and plugged it back in same thing. So I just took it apart, real cheap plastic top, warped sheet metal bottom. 4 very small screws and was able to get the disc out without damaging it luckily. Also turning thr drive over looking at the bottom label revealed that it was manufactured in 2006. There was also dust internaly. So this isn't a "new " drive. Overall wouldn't recommend.

No discs get stuck with the eject button.
This one has an eject button. It’s great and no discs get stuck with the eject button. I played a movie (DVD) on my computer the clarity, sound, and pause-stop-eject options were fantastic!. Thank You

Not USB 3.0
Although the description states it comes with a USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter, it’s a USB 2.0 device. Also, the cable is permanently attached to the device, not removable. With that said, it started up and was recognized by the OS (Win 10) right away. However I was expecting a USB 3.0 device (based on the description) and its USB 2.0.

Won't Eject
From the beginning the Eject touch feature never worked, but I was fine with that. However, now that it's past the 30-day return window, it won't eject at all, and sometimes it makes a horrible noise, which worries me that it's ruining my CD. I'm afraid to put another CD in it so I can no longer use it. I've only used it a few times, and I have never dropped it.

Good looking Drive
The drive is ok, it makes some noises. I’ve never had an issue with any burning or reading of disc, it just sounds bad. It comes with a USB-C adapter which works fine.
