I purchased the same dividers from Avery 10 years ago now and have been using them ever since in a notebook that has been handled several times each week for the last 10 years. The dividers are still in great condition after all that time. None of the dividers have torn or gotten bent in any way. I labeled them with pencil 10 years ago, and while the pencil marks have faded over time, they are still readable. I have used paper clips, clipping them directly on the dividers, and there has been no damage from them either. I only purchased new dividers recently because the notebook had run out of space, so needed a second notebook to expand, and I wanted it divided up similarly. I was really glad to see Avery still made the same dividers - though the number of ring holes punched in each has gone up from 3 back in 2014 to 7 in the package you purchase in 2024. I thought the best way to show you how durable these dividers are over the long term would be to show you photos of the old ones from 2014 that I photographed a few days ago alongside the new, so you can see the difference 10 years of regular use does to them. The only real way to tell the old from the new is by how many holes are punched in the divider, and if a paper clip or post it note is stuck to one of them, then they are old. This is a great product and I very highly recommend it if you are in the market for this size notebook divider.

These have got to be the most durable dividers ever made for a small notebook.
