Nothing else checks it so accurately. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pro grade tester at a pro grade price *by S***6 on March 17, 2024* This is definitely a professional grade battery tester, and my understanding is that it is the tool of choice for many professional mechanics and shops. The build quality is excellent and very durable. It will pretty much test any common configuration of lead acid starting batteries....flooded, AGM, Gel etc. The tool is easy to use and the menus are self explanatory for the most part. In addition to starting/cranking amp test, it offers a start time/current test, and a charging system test. I also like that it has the capability to determine an insufficient clamp/terminal connection to avoid erroneous test results. As much as I like this tester, I do have a few minor criticisms: Firstly, the terminal clamps are a bit too small to get good purchase on an installed battery....at least the ones in my truck.....I wish the connector jaws would open wide enough to comfortably grip across my battery cable connectors. Second, the tester comes with a nice quality, but excessively large tool bag....I would have preferred a more compact impact resistant case. Third, this tester is priced several times higher than other reasonably capable units.
