My dish has a short "lip" on both ends that are helpful, but not wide enough that I would call them handles. I'm just really glad that I can use my own glass baking dish. Love this oven, use it every day, and have tried all the functions. **Q: Can this be used on counter sitting under cabinetss** A: I would not locate it under a counter as it is taller than most toaster ovens. It gets HOT and you need the airspace around it. We use it several times a day for toast and baking. Our old GE toast-r-oven bit the dust after literally fifty years. I was overwhelmed with the options out there and wanted something that would actually toast toast. Indeed, it does that well and doesn’t take forever to do so. The temperature is fully adjustable. I find it easy to use and clean. I’ve also used it to bake pizza (frozen and from scratch), roast cauliflower steaks, bake muffins, crisp hashbrowns, make cobbler and many more meals. The outside gets hot, just like every other toaster oven. I did opt for the convection model over the air fryer and have zero regrets.
