Review: Not worth the price. - If you haven’t seen or read anything about any of Pep Guardiola’s teams since 2008, then I would highly recommend this book. The analysis and detail is second to none, although the majority of analysis can be easily be found online for free, through a variety of social media platforms. The sessions In the book are uninspiring, 75% of them are unopposed pattern practices and the other 25% simply add defenders against the unopposed patterns. The sessions lack creativity and variety and for the price of the book I was expecting a lot more.

If you haven’t seen or read anything about any of Pep Guardiola’s teams since 2008, then I would highly recommend this book. Great breakdown of Pep’s style of play. It gives examples of training sessions/activities to coach the style as well. With the help of this book, I’ll be on my way to becoming a BPL bald head coach in no time.
