Part fit
LG Dishwasher melted the wiring inside the door shortly after replacing this part. Guess it worked okay, but we switched to another brand.

Works for LG LDP6797ST
In-laws dishwaher was dead. Replacing this did the trick. It appears that the fuse blew on it, but the fuse isn't replaceable.Note: Installation is tricky. The part is on the bottom of the unit in the back. It's behind a black piece of plastic, which i don't think is removable. To fix, I laid it down on it's front. Then I removed the small bottom panel. From there, you remove a screw above the access panel that that's holding it in place, reach into the black plastic area and blindly guide it out.

Fixed power issue caused by surge
We have an LG high end dishwasher with steam option. It would not power on after a lightning storm. It was fairly easy to replace if you’re someone who has repaired appliances before. The dishwasher has to be removed and turned upside down. The part was an exact replacement.
