Quality sound just not sounds perfect...
I've reviewed quite a few headphones in the last year or so, mostly in-ear, but I have checked out a few over ear.Once I read the directions about pairing, they paired right out with no issues at all. And they played music right away. There is a + and - on the edge, I thought that was volume, but it is for moving through tracks, which works flwalessly. You also get a nice zipped case. These do have good sound, but it bugs me that their slogan is "sounds perfect". It's close but not perfect. Not trying to be super picky, just trying to give an honest review. I have HK Onyx and that is perfect sound. I've had beats and those are perfect sound (until they blow). Honestly, they seem to be taking some liberties.I played many sounds to give them a fair comparison. The interstellar headphones have over all good sound, pretty good highs, pretty good lows. But I found them some times to be muddy and some times to be dull and not always as "bright" or crisp as they could be. Also, heard some noise once I couldn't pin point. They are not loud either, if that is important to you.Like I said, they are good, don't get me wrong. But for the price, 199 as of this writing, I was expecting a little more, they are so close. I don't think any one would be disappointed, but if you are picky, like me, they might not be quite as good as you want. Of course, that can be a matter of opinion. As another reviewer pointed out, the buttons are funky, least that is my take. It takes a bit to figure out where the buttons actually are, least it did for me. But once you get it, you got it.Taking out the price point, I would recommend them, the sound is not bad and they work perfectly.

Nice, but not amazing for the price.
I ordered the 'Malektronic Interstellar Premium Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones' for review and would like to share my thoughts. So I am no audiophile, but I do love a good quality headphone that is built well and sound good. Sounding good or even great is really subjective depending on personal preference. For the going retail price of these Malektronic Interstellar Premium Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones, I really expected much more than what I personally find these to be. I'll break my experience and thoughts into a few main points that stood out to me.Comfort - These are comfortable but they don't fit as snug as I would have liked. I have a small head for a 54yro male, and even on the smallest adjustment setting, they just don't hug my ears like I would have hoped for such an expensive set of headphones.Noise Cancelling - yea this is a big one for me right hear (see what I did there). I am not at all impressed with the Noise Cancelling in these headphones for the price. I mean it's OK, but I have ANC wireless earbuds that do a much better job for about the same price. There are only two settings. ANC On and ANC Off. For me, It's really hard to tell whether I've turned it on or off. There is no indicator like others I have that would either beep or greet you with some kind of prompt letting you know which mode you are in (there are voice prompts when you turn them on or off so why not anything for ANC modes). In fact the only way I can truly tell that it's on or off, is to pause the song and push the ANC button at which point it's pretty clear. However, and with that said, I do notice that when it's on, the music almost sounds more heavy on the Bass. It's almost like the Bass is supposed to give that "ANC" feel. Remember, I am no audiophile but this is just my observation.Sound - Now I can say this, and that is that these do sound good until you get close to max volume. At which point they just don't hold up to the volume. Not that they get really loud but if you have the ANC on and you are listening to a heavy Bass song, they tend to bottom out just a tad. It's not bad but again for this price point, I would have expected better. The highs are nice but even better when ANC is off. Mids are there and probably sound good in either mode really. Another thing I noticed is that if you take these off while the music is still playing at full volume, they sound like they are rattling and sound a bit distorted. However when you put them back on, there is no distortion like I noticed with them off. That was kind of strange.Micro USB charging - I always have to point this out. It's 2020 companies and USB C should be the standard any more in my opinion. Just saying.Build Quality - They aren't the worst I have seen or tried but at this price point they are not the best either. They are pretty much plastic although fairly solid.Buttons - The buttons are hidden/covered near the edge of the ear pads and they took me a while to figure out where they are, but after using them for a while, I actually like the fact that they look to be buttonless.Looks/design - These really do look nice both on and off. They don't look cheap which is nice, as I have some others that just look ugly and I refuse to wear haha. The design is well thought out and I do love how they fold flat and compact into the very nice hard case.So with all that said, I do like these headphones. They sound pretty good. The ANC is meh but they are comfortable besides not fitting as snug as I would prefer. Build quality is decent and I do love they way they fold up and store nicely into the included hard case. Thank you for including this Maletronics! Micro USB charging is a bummer but they also can be used wired with the included cable if you forget to get them charged up. Battery life is not bad. 30hrs might be pushing it if you like to listen to them loud and are always using the ANC. I have yet to test that fully as the longest I generally go is maybe an hour at a time. So for me the battery life is fine.Overall, I really want to love these, and I actually do like them a lot, but I am just not that "Wowed" at this price point. I have other brands at or around this price point that I like better. Now maybe I got a dud pair and that very well could be, but I don't dislike them. They are nice and I plan to keep them around as a back-up pair. I hope that this was helpful.

Great sound, couple minor shortcomings
I have several sets of mid-tier Bluetooth headphones, which is where I'd put these.Pairing was simple enough on my Mac and my Pixel 3. Range is consistent with any other Bluetooth product I own.Sound quality is very good. Crisp highs and balanced not overly powerful bass. I usually test with Pink Floyd Wish you were here which is considered to be an audiophile album. You will not be disappointed at the price point with the sound. Now where it could be improved. The Active Noise cancellation button has no marker. It's on the left ear cup and you need to search around for the trigger point. When you find it, you will know as it's quite effective, almost uncanny when the sound outside is suddenly reduced even without any audio pumping through the headphones.Another thing missing which I have come to rely on with my Plantronics is when you power it up, it said how much battery power the device has. These do not give any indication at power-up.I do like the double tap of the multi function button to invoke Google Assistant. The cups are far more comfortable for prolonged wear, I typically wear these for four hours at a time given the telework scenario and find no discomfort.

Volume was too low
They fit nice. Bluetooth was easy. They did sound good but even at full volume it was a little low for me. Noise cancel didn't work well and really just lowered or raised the volume a little. I couldn't tell when it was on it off to be honest. I returned them to try Beats Studio 3's.

Cheap build quality
Decent headphones with poor quality materials. Plastic around hinges broke making these useless since they would no longer stay on. These saw very light use while working at my desk. Better options available for less money like the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2.
