Review: Quality, Price, Appearance - Not only do I like it, I loved it..!!! I’ve had it for over a month now, and I can’t find a single gripe....especially for the price. The blade is made of D2 tool steel, so it’s not hard, but super tough. It holds an edge, and you can bring it back to a razor edge with not much effort at all. It opens extremely FAST dew to the ball bearing, like a gator and closes easily with one hand. As previously mentioned, I have owned it for more than month as my EDC, and it has never failed to operate as designed and stated in the desertcart description. Would I recommend this knife...HELL yeah. I wouldn’t part with it for three times the money I paid for it. I had never heard anything from/about the manufacturer before, but for the price, I took a chance and was very happily surprised...I now own 2-3 other models from the same manufacturer and they’re all superb, in form, fit, function, and it is very aesthetically pleasing. The variety of multicolored G10 scales is a huge plus. In my humble opinion, run, don’t walk and get one for yourself, or a friend, which would be awesome gift for the knife guy/girl in your life. It looks and feels much more valuable than it is. Get ya one before they smarten up and raise the price...you’ll be extremely pleased. Just my opinion, no one paid me for this...I just love the knife. Will be getting more variances from this manufacturer before they smarten up..!!! I’m now gonna get another exactly like this one...As Doc Holiday said in the movie Tombstone: “One for each of ya”..!!!

This is a solid knife with befitting weight. It has a terrifically smooth operation opening it. In hand, it feels confident & comfortable. The blade is not over done, that not too long, not too short kind of thing. I simple like this design a lot. Again, the jade scales rock it! I have only praise for this piece of excellence. I recommend you get it & be grateful it is so affordable. I did, I am, & I am looking at picking up another one in a different color. Also, thinking I’ll be getting a couple of more in jade as gifts. In my opinion, there are other great choices out there in flipper knives, however, none are better than this one considering the entire package that it is. This one is a treat, a winner, and one very inexhaustibly cool carry knife. To some I expect it might be a bit hefty in weight. For me it is not so heavy to pry it out of my enjoying it for its crisp solid construction, looks, & appeal. And did I mention looks? Oh yes, I did! **Q: Is it spring assisted?**
A: It is not spring assisted, however the ceramic bearings make it almost seem like it is. Extremely satisfying flipper. I get asked about it more than some of the $60-$300 pocket knives I carry. This knife spends a lot of time in my pocket, it’s actually in there right now. ONE OF MY FAVORITES, DEF WORTH THE MONEY!!!

**Q: where is it made?**
A: I can find no location on knife, or online. However I believe the answer is China. I'm not a knife or gun snob by any means. Personally I don't really get spending over a $100 for a knife. This knife is about the best knife I've bought at any price, solid, sharp, looks and feels good in hand. So, unless your EDC is used to break into safes or pry car doors open, I think this is a great EDC knife.

**Q: Screw missing on clip side of knife (opposite from blade when knife opened, i.e., the small one). How can I get a replacement? 100% guarantee?**
A: I had one scale mounting screw either break or back out (and disappear) when the knife was about two months old. Contacted the vendor, he suggested I go to the hardware store to find some replacement.  So, if that's your idea of customer support, then that's what to expect.

**Q: Anyone know if it has real D2 steel?  Rockwell hardness?**
A: Even if it is lower on HRC than other manufacturers' D2 knives, it is not inconceivable that the knife is indeed D2 or at least compositionally indistinguishable from D2. The hardness is more determined by the quality of the heat treat than the composition of the steel itself. The process of creating D2 is inexpensive nowadays and D2 stock is also inexpensive to buy. D2 still performs acceptably if treated to 58-60 as the manufacturer claims, but is not as resistant to wear from use as you might be accustomed to. However, the experiential difference is negligible for such a small knife. I fail to see why anyone would be doing the kind of high-stress work where these differences would actually matter with a knife of this form factor. The takeaway is that in the current market, if you like how the knife looks, buy it. Even 56 HRC ought to be sufficient for 99% of small knife tasks anyway.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy knife, well worth the money!

Overall I like this knife! The stonewashed blade and blue scales make quite a statement. The knife is on the skinnier side from what I've carried in the past, but my grip feels secure on it. I don't know if it is truly D2 steel, but it keeps an edge well when you sharpen it. The blade is well-centered, and the lock up is fantastic; no wiggle at all. My two complaints: 1. the blade is almost too tight to flip. You have got to put a LOT of pressure behind it to flip it open. A little less pressure on the closed blade to have a faster opening would be preferable. Having said that, the bearing feels smooth. 2. it is a long blade. At around 4 inches, probably too long for an EDC. This also slows the flipping action down a little. If they had the same design around 3 inches, it would be perfect. But it does look intimidating when open with the longer blade, also switchblade-esque. Overall, great purchase! If you haven't bought an Eafengrow, find a design you like and buy it! You can't beat the build and price.
