**Q: can you use this when doing the hot water bath for long term canning? thanks**
A: I don't know exactly, but I don't think so. I used it for jelly and marmalade. You have to cook it.

A: Yes! This is just the pectin you  still have to add the sugar.

A: I don't speak german, but a google search states dextrose, pectin, citric acid, sorbic acid and palm oil

A: The ingredients are:  Dextrose, gelling agent Pectin, citric acid, preservative sorbic acid, hydrogenated vegetable fat.  This is taken directly from the back of the package.  I use the 2:1 and have good results.  Good luck. Hannah
