I bought a very nice scale, and needed this for calibration (along with 1kg and 2kg calibration weights). But beyond that, I have no other use for this weight, and how many times do you really need to calibrate? Thus, my feeling of slight chagrin. It is very large and obviously heavy, very nicely made, and must be treated with care so as not to affect it's accuracy. It did not come with a case of any kind, which annoyed the heck out of me. I knocked a star off for that. I also knocked off a star for "Accuracy". How am I supposed to know if it is accurate? I'm using this weight to calibrate, so the assumption is it is accurate within M2 guidelines!
