Stick with what works best.
I use the spice to rub turkeys when I deep fry them. The skin becomes crispy and with this rub tastes just like bacon. I tried a dozen different rubs before picking this one over 25 years ago, and have been happy with it ever since. 100% of guests for dinner have loved it.

I use this like you would use Tony Chacheres Creole seasoning. I prefer the Louisiana Cajun brand. It’s not nearly as salty. Great flavor and not too spicy.

Very close to Cook Out Cajun toping
Got to add to fries for my son who likes Cook Out cajun. Very close to their flavor but a bit spicier.
