Update: I spilled tea on this cover and it actually did bead up without penetrating the fabric. I previously stated that it was not waterproof. It is water repellent. I caught the spill right away and took the cover off my sofa nothing went through and my sofa was dry.Original review: My high rating is based on the low price. It is not water resistant at all. It’s cheap, stretchy and was easy to put on my click-clack sleep sofa. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed. There’s no reason for the false water resistant claims. If you’re looking for a quick, easy and cheap sofa cover; this is it. I put it on the sofa in my finished basement. We don’t use that sofa often. I would never use the cover in my living room or on a sofa that gets a lot of use.

The package was delivered yesterday and we immediately put it on our sofa. It appeared to be too big at first, but after the all of the tucks and stretching to under the sofa, it's a great fit. The color is exactly what I was going for. It's easy to put on with two people with one holding it while the other stretches it into place.As for the waterproofing, so far I haven't had any issues with spills. I have 3 dogs and it doesn't appear to be holding dog hair all over it. I'll update my reviews on this after I've had the sofa cover for a month or two. It appears to be very sturdy and well made but it's too early to tell. The price was good on this.

**UPDATE** The styrofoam poles that are provided do not work very well to keep the cover from coming untucked. I highly recommend buying foam “pool noodles” (got some at the dollar store!). It took 3 & 1/2 for my large sofa and they work much better to keep the cover neatly tucked. I’m not having to fuss with it every time I sit down.I have a large sectional so I bought two large size covers. These covers are patterned for a regular sofa, with arm rests on each end. The pattern makes it difficult to put on any sofa that’s not of that shape. But I persevered! I wasn’t impressed with the quality, one of the covers had a hole in the seam, the other had 3 “back” tags instead of 2 (VERY confusing). I ordered grey but these covers look more blue, like some other reviews mentioned. I’m not returning them only because it took me so long to put them on and I only hope I never need to wash them. But once the covers are on they do look nice, better than paying to replace a sofa that still has years of life left. Also, much better than the MiracleSofa cover! And less expensive, too!I added photos to illustrate the odd shaped end of my sofa. This was the most difficult part to cover, I couldn’t get the fabric to smooth out so I styled it as best as I could. As I had mentioned, this part of the cover is meant to slip onto an armrest of a sofa. The lines just wouldn’t tuck in properly. Anyway, it doesn’t look half bad.

It fit my 3 seater sofa perfectly, don't know if it's water resistant because I have yet to try that. I liked that the material was stretchy enough to fit my sofa and easy to put on

My couch is huge and I love how this feels and fits!!!

so the first picture is when i put it on last night and I was pretty happy with it . Today it is being returned. It is very thin and see through so it is not water resistant and my cats completely destroyed it due to the fact it is so thin. A dog could have done the same kind of damage but in my case it was the cats. (dog is kenneled overnight). If this is a cover to protect your furniture from your pets, it needs to be a lot more sturdy. I am returning it

Pedí uno en gris y es exacto como la foto. Es repelente pero tienes que secar con un trapo de inmediato porque si no sí se absorben los líquidos

Protege los sillones muy bien, es impermeable. Lo recomiendo al 100%.
