Review: Great deal: many, small colors - I’m quite happy with the color selection and quality of the product! The clay is easy to mold and does not harden while you mold it. After baking, the color does not change drastically either. As other reviews have mentioned, the portion sizes are small. Depending on your project needs, this trade off of smaller sizes for more colors may be well-suited to you. One note is that the packaging isn’t ideal. Each piece is pacakaged separately with flimsy sheets of plastic on each side, before all being packaged in a thicker ziplock bag. These sheets weren’t fully attached to every piece of clay, so in some places you can see the color bleed into each other. I still give this product 5 stars, because to me, the bleeding wasn’t drastic or unforgivable. It was annoying, since there is so little of each color to begin with, but it didn’t interfere with the earring designs I’ve made.

**Q: about how many 5mm beads can be made with this size clay lot I have not tried poly clay and need an idea of how much to get**
A: each block is about 1 inch by 1 half inch thick.

**Q: Would this clay be ok to use on a kids pottery wheel?**
A: No.  This is polymer clay similar to sculpey. Watch some YouTube videos on polymer clay to see how to use it. Fiona Able-Smith’s videos are great. Ace of Clay’s videos are wonderful for sculpting. Just make sure any utensils you use on the raw clay never touch food.

**Q: can these be baked in the same oven you cook in? or should i buy a separate small toaster oven?**
A: Yes it can be cooked in your oven at 275F 12mins. Works perfect.

**Q: What do I use to seal the clay once baked?**
A: Hello friend! you could use some mod podge to seal it, or a different kind of polymer clay varnish. Mod podge is the most affordable, but you should not put it on items such as bowls or cups which will be used for eating or drinking. But if it is a lil' figure or gift not being given to a person bellow the age of 6, it's a great option! also, in some cases it can be water solvent, so try to keep your mod podge glazed item away from water if you can :) best of luck to you, and happy crafting!

I’m quite happy with the color selection and quality of the product! The clay is easy to mold and does not harden while you mold it. After baking, the color does not change drastically either. This product really does have a great value. The color range is great. Some of them have some (relatively subtle) teeny tiny glitter mixed in. I was surprised by how small the blocks are but it does mention that right in the title. For reference, the pictured strawberry earrings used all of that shade. My first time trying polymer clay and I used sculpey gloss glaze on top and it came out really cute. The individual wrappers are in weird sheets and it’s not ideal but since it comes in such small amounts I basically just use all of it and it’s not like it really dries out you just have to keep them in a box away from dust. For the price, it is a perfect product. Long term I will be moving to something that dries stronger.
