The clips are adjustable so you can wear them in either the middle or the sides. The fabric is your usually thin jacket fabric and the strap fabric is the same texture as the fabric that comes on the belts that come with your dresses that tie around your waist. I was expecting some cheap Aliexpress quality, but it is so amazing. I wouldn't wear it in 30 degree weather but our Fall weather here in Cali is perfect. It fits like a dream, and flows seamlessly with crop tops and tank tops. There are so many combinations that this works with in my closet, and it's held up really well since purchase.
