Having had a fall recently I have difficulty holding my neck up but this cushion, whilst easing my back, helps me keep my head up higher to view monitor. Good quality, very comfy and great price. Now I have a good knee and a bad knee. once you hit 40 to even have a chance you need to eat more carefully, exercise more frequently and think carefully about any physical interaction before performing it. This is of course just my experience! I have been largely desk based in my working life for over 10 years. And whilst I try to take regular breaks, it is an unconscious action that i end up leaning slightly forward for long periods whilst using my computer. As a result i cannot stand up without expressing a groan. No amount of replacement chairs or adjustments improve that midday ache across the base of my spine. I recently purchased a different version of this that was about half the size and strapped to the back of the chair about half way up. the issue i had is that it would always slip down and the support would be ineffective. This support is full length and sits at the back of the seat and also has elasticated clips to prevent it moving. I find the support from this far more effective,. The ergonomic design really provides good support at the base and around my buttocks, and i find myself leaning back into it far more than i lean forward. It has helped me be far more aware of my posture, and coupled with a foot stool I am far more comfortable during the day, and far less sore at the end of it. The memory foam is nice and firm whilst still cushioning your spine and feeling comfy. The mesh backing prevents your back from sweating during the hotter months (not that we get any of those here is sunny England!) I'm 6'3 and driving instructor, my seat can't be moved any further back** A: This has only been used in a computer chair which does push you forward slightly. Dont know about using it in a car. **Q: I havent recieved my carry bag & emailed you already. When am I going to recieve it?** A: You dont get one **Q: Can you use on a sofa instead of cushions?** A: It is possible, although there are straps on the back of it to secure to a chair or carseat. You could just lie it against the back of your sofa but you may need to adjust it from time to time.
