I looked at quite a few variations of these adapters before settling on this one, and am quite glad I found it. Just installed it, went in perfectly. Some of the features I especially like:1) Molex DC power plug for getting power externally to spare mobo power (essential for my use!). Molex to SATA Adapter cable provided.2) Rubber insulating pad on trace side of circuit board, so you don't need to worrk about shorts.3) Use of USB cable to connect the X1 male to the board, as you can use the length you need if the supplied one is too long/short.4) Durability and quality of construction.
