We went to the Dr and he was impressed with the quality. He said it was perfect and he wanted my son to wear it especially at night to prevent his wrist getting in odd positions. He wore it nightly for another week after that and his wrist had been pain free since. He said it was very supportive and comfortable. They had me try on one in their office, showing how to adjust it and how tight it should be etc. and said their price is $50 but I could buy the exact same one a lot cheaper here on desertcart so that's what I did! I love how this brace has the elastic bands for tightening around the wrist area, then secures with velcro. That works wonderfully, very easy and so comfortable! And then you can adjust the band that goes between fingers and thumb to get a perfect fit there that is comfortable on your hand. I've been wearing this every night for more than a month now and have zero complaints. The brace is solid and keeps my wrist from moving, which is what it's meant to do. I'm not sure if it's doing anything to help the carpal tunnel but I'm following dr's orders and hoping. I'm just thankful that the brace is so comfortable to wear while I wait to find out if it helps! This is a factor of elbow joint more than wrist. What this brace does wonderfully is stop wrist from flexing up and down as if on floor on hands and knees causing hand to be nearly right angle to ulnar bone or bending opposite way as if to scratch your knee. Make sense? Hope so. This brace is fabulous. Got the first one from Cleveland Clinic orthopedic surgeon. Ordered two more, one for each hand from here. **Q: does this brace cause sweating** A: I have not found this brace to cause any sweating. I have used it for several months now and really, really like it.
