SSF-6 56% Silver Solder Brazing Rods (30 rods)

WORK REALLY WELL!

Added a stainless steel plate to the bottom of my steel marine fuel tank. Tip: we overlapped the pieces being weld by 1/4" to save time getting them to fit perfect (old bottom had rusted out) but big mistake because that 1/4" overlap we welded sucks in way too much SS6. Use an edge to edge or edge to flat surface weld. and with 70,000 psi strength it will still be very strong. We used map gas. Give time for temp to melt stick so you don't ball up too much solder too early and waste it. Apply flux only where you want solder then be patient and wait for it to melt and it will flow to where the flux was applied. Great product!

I am a HVACR tech and do a lot of brazing, this rod along with alloy 1 and 5 are some of the best products I have used, rates right up there with Harris, a little pricy but at 2 o’clock In the morning doing a job it’s worth twice as much, shipping was quick at 3 days, quality dealer all around

Great product does what they claim, as long as the item is out and on a table or some other FLAT surface. I tried welding my exhaust while it was still in and that was a no no. Still the quality of the product itself was great thus the 5 stars

Doesn't work, I saw the video, cleaned the area with sandpaper, cleaner, heated it for 15 minutes and it didn't work, wouldn't puddle, wouldn't do anything kept heat on it until it was evident that nothing happened. Now I have a ruined project. Go figure.

This product is awesome! Works exactly as the YouTube shows. Flux tends to get a little messy and it does dry hard but that's minor to how great this works!

While there is a bit of a learning curve with this, once you figure it out it works as intended. Very happy with it.
