I am sensitive to sugar substitutes. They make me nauseous and can leave a horrible bitter and/or chemical aftertaste in my mouth for an hour or more. But being a Type 2 Pre-diabetic I miss sweets so much. This is a tolerable replacement. Lol. I mean, for sugar free. It's obviously not as spot-on twin to a chocolate tootsie roll pop (love those!), but it will do since it did not make me nauseous or leave an aftertaste. Don't expect extra sweet though. It's only very mildly sweet. Also, when you finally bite into it, it has a tough consistency, not the brittle consistency of regular hard candy. Almost even hard abd chewy, if that makes sense.
