The manufacturer recommends use over a glass aquarium panel, so I wouldn't trust possible exposure to water. **Q: How well does this work for soft corals?** A: I dont know i don't have any corals in my tank. I think it would be ok though. Its pretty bright and is a full spectrum light. You can also adjust the brightness. **Q: The light has three options- yellow/white, blue/white, and blue. The timer only adjusts for yellow/white and blue. What is the blue/white used for?** A: I use it for a few hours at night. Would purchase again. A+ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Power Supply died after 18 months *by D***E on December 31, 2025* Late review - I have been happy with this light. The timer works well. There is not any kind of internal battery on the timer so if you lose power you lose the settings. However the main reason for this late review is the power supply gave up the ghost after a year and a half of use.
