Shea Moisture Yucca & Baobab Thickening & Volumizing Hair Care System

I have short, fine, thin hair and all of these products give me a thicker, fuller and soft feel when used as directed. They smell incredible, contain natural ingredients that I am familiar with, and are exactly what I've been looking for in terms of hair care. I've tried dozens of product lines and this is what I'll be sticking with. Just remember that with fine hair a small amount of the shampoo (and the other products) goes a long way! I enjoyed sampling all of the masks and treatments. This is a perfectly sized kit for testing out a new line of products--excellent variety for a low price. Highly recommend you try this.Side note-- I bought the same brand of conditioner separately since it didn't come in this tester kit. Worked great.

If I had written this review when I had bought this I would have given it 1 star but I decided not to dump it and used it again about a week ago, and this is over a year since I purchased the products.When I had bought this kit I was transitioning from relaxed to natural and it was a mess. My hair tangled so bad and felt dry and straw like. I really hated it. I tried it again on my now fully natural shoulder length kinky hair and it felt really good. It didn't feel as though it had stripped my hair completely and my hair felt soft and manageable after the shampoo and treatment. I usually wash my hair once a week depending on my styling product usage and I intend to use this at least once a month on my hair as I'm currently using the Wen hair care system. When these bottles are empty I'm not sure if I will purchase again.

Would not recommend it thank God it was travel size. These products greatly affected the te true of my hair by making it very dry and rough. Before my hair was very soft.I'm not sure of the number type hair I have but my hair is not thick, curls when wet and I'm Jamaican mixed primarily with maroon. This product was awfullllll for my hair. So disappointed.On the flip side my hair did start to feel thicker but not worth it to me if it feels as rough as it did.

I was all excited about this hair care set coming in the mail. When I received it the box was not sealed, but it didn't show any wear and tear, so I figured that was fine. It's a pretty presentation with a front panel that opens up so you can read about what all is in the box. The scent is pleasant and there are good directions about which bottle to use for what. Now for the good and bad:Good:package came perfectly on time and in good conditionproduct smells goodmy hair felt better after one useBad:The entire selection is expired.It had expired three months before it was sent to me, and as a consequence some of the products inside are gloppy and kind of the consistency of vanilla yogurt right when you start mixing it and some is smooth but some is still oddly chunky.The smell, while still pleasant is somewhat off and I don't entirely trust any of these bottles to be safe since the texture and quality of each of them vary pretty widely.So, will I try it? Hmm, originally I had wanted to try everything in this box to get a good idea if the Shea Moisture Yucca and Baobab Thickening system would work, but now I will probably only use those products that don't look super expired and that still maintain some consistency in the product itself (no chunks, no obvious separations) because there are both of those in some of the bottles.

This line is great for my hair. I have very curly hair and I ordered these products during a critical moment of my hair: it was very dry, breaking a lot and overall very unhealthy. I find that these products had an immediate effect on my hair because since the 1st use of the complete line, I can see now that my hair has more moisture, is less rebellious and more defined. The bottles are very small but very little goes a long way so I hope they last at least a month, with the exception of the Anti-Breakage Mask because you should be rather generous when applying it but I only use it twice a month.Also, I really liked that I only needed very little to almost no product to restyle my hair during the following days until the 5th day when I rewashed it using this same products of course, not to mention that my hair now always smells like bliss. I can only say that you have a faithful customer here.The only reason that I’m giving 3 stars is because when I got the box the seal of the shampoo bottle was broken and part of the product spilled on the box as you can see in the pictures but besides that these are great products and definitely recommend it!

I ordered this product because I had read such good reviews and my hair was in bad shape. I was desperate. I really didn't expect this to be as good as it is! I didn't even know what all of the items in this kit were for and wasn't sure if they would be good for my hair, but have found they are excellent! My hair has more shine and more body and looks thicker after just one shampoo. The styling spray really helped it to have body and hold a nice shape without weighing it down or leaving a residue. I am happy that I tried it and more than satisfied. It went beyond my expectations!

I love this stuff, I have fine, thin, curly hair and this line has given it body, shine, and fullness, while adding moisture. No frizz or dry crispy feeling. My daughter and husband loved it too. Unfortunately I cannot find it in the full sizes the stores anymore and I think it is being discontinued. Amazon is the only place I can find it in the travel sizes and the supplies are getting limited. That seems to happen to all products that I love...eventually they all get discontinued. Since it seems to have a lot of positive customer reviews, I don't understand why the company is going to kill it.

I love this product. I have really fine thin hair and since I've started using this product my hair has gotten thicker and it's thriving.

Received an expired product. Really disappointed.

I love this set, it smells amazing and does wonders for my hair! My hair looks fuller and more shiny! I just wish there was more product!

The products were expired when I received them. I would like a refund
