It’s primary function is wire stripping **Q: Anybody try using this to strip 10 awg wire? if so how did it work? thanks** A: 10 Gage is small wire. So, it should work fine. I've used it to strip 20 amp house wire with no problem. I use the top head not the strippers in the handles. All of these designs seem to work OK. **Q: is there a warranty on these tools?** A: Only thru Amazon. Mine worked fine. It's not a heavy use stripper.
