The wool pads contain lanolin, so they soothe the nipple, and because they're not holding the moisture in with plastic (and because wool wicks away moisture so well) it's incredibly healing for the nipples.Using both wool pads AND these breast shells have almost completely cleared up my nipple soreness issue. If you're struggling with clothing or pads feeling painful on your nipples, it's really worth the investment to try the LANAcare wool pads. Amazing! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 40 minute wearing limit *by K***A on March 7, 2026* I thought these were amazing for trying to heal due to a shallow latching baby. I missed the part in the instructions that say not to wear longer than 40 minutes because longer use can lead to clogged ducts. I was starting to feel like I could possibly because getting the early signs of a clogged duct after wearing these continuously for about a day and that’s when I discovered there’s a time limit.
