Three problems which can be overcome, need a UK plug for the charger, the manual isn't in English, asked them and they emailed a link however, the digital controller has more adjustments than the obvious and the manual doesn't cover this so I'm emailing for more info. (I (she) doesn't need all this but I may have upset the standard settings!)If you are under 5'-3" the bars and stock are high, but you can get use to it. There is another model without front suspension and 'lower small crossbar' which maybe be better but, they are not clear on dimensions, look at their online photos and I can see its less in height - My guesswork! Had problem with the current shipping but you can guess why.Oh, the is a twist grip throttle (loose) and cable socket in the handle bar loom which isn't mentioned but you can fit it and adjust the controller (by guesswork) and you don't have to pedel! wow.Finally they put the front brake lever on the 'left' easy to swap over, maybe in China thats there norm!

I bought the cruiser 550 after a change of job meaning my daily commute was alot more bike friendly. I am 6'5" tall so needed a large bike and this fits the bill. It is very solidly made and the components are good quality. The battery is nicely intergrated into the down tube but still removeable. It has 6 levels of power assistance, 1 to 5 being increasing levels of help with 0 being all electric controlled by the twist throttle.All round very pleased with my purchase

Bought it in January, wanting an electric bike for the commute to work to assist with the hills. The fact that it comes with front and rear lights, full mudguards, pannier and kickstand. Took about a week to so to arrive, once here wasn't too bad to assemble.If you are a complete novice it may take a while and redoing if you have put a bolt on the wrong side or in the wrong order. But having built bikes many years ago, wasn't too hard at all - done in an hour! The tool kit it comes with will get the job done (though if you have your own spanners and allen keys of better quality is an advantage). Was impressed that all the nuts, bolts, screws already fitted were all done nice and tight before - typically not done on many half-built bikes.I'll be honest, saw all the good reviews so thought it would be OK, but at that price knew it would be entry-level quality but I have to say, it's much much better than I expected. I bet you can buy a bike of double, even triple the price and the quality won't be as good. As others have commented, I have also tweeked it in a few places. Yes changed the saddle. The one supplied is OK but being a big (heavy lad) I have an older gel saddle which for me is better. Plus having been used to mountain bikes with narrow handle bars, I found these too wide - so trimmed 2 inches of each side and replaced the grips. The twist grip (for use off UK roads ;) ) is very easy to fit and is a great addition.I will warn you the bike is heavy, I swear the removable battery is the weight of most other bikes! But riding it you don't notice it all. If you read the instructions about the control module, you will see about changing the default 5 levels of assistance to 9, highly recommended! It's not more power, it's just smaller increments between the levels and makes it so much nicer. OK, some might think its a ladies bike, but no its a step-through and ideal for commuting giving a really relaxed position.I was concerned that it only has 7 gears with no gear on the front chainset but actually, those 7 are well geared and so not missing the front derailleur at all.The reason they don't fit the twist grip, but do supply it, is that in the UK market they are not allowed for use on the roads. Private area is fine to use. And the motor 250w - max for UK roads, is fine and pushes you along quite nicely at around 16-18mph - and I'm 18 stone!

I put the bike together but when I came to charge the battery it did not appear to charge. The battery charger turned green as expected but charge did not register in the handle bar indicator. Has anyone else had this problem?

The bike arrived early and although the box was a little battered the bike was in good condition apart from the front brake disc which was bent and had to be replaced. The seat was OK but I purchased a more comfortable one.Assembly was not a problem and could be done by anyone with basic mechanical knowledge. The bike arrived partially assembled.

bike looks and feels more expensive than it is,comes complete had problem got intouch with company sent me video of how to fix problem excellent result

Very straight forward to put together good battery life rode over 200 miles to and from work now would recommend this bike at the price offered

Yes the bike was easy to build up and running good I bought it because i have arthritis in my knees which hurt when you have to push pedals round to get up hills only been out on it once as weather has been bad since I bought this bike hope for good weather to get out more .I also changed handle bars for some not as wide as it came with to make it better for me to use. The bike is good value for money and by changing things it makes it more personal for the rider and better to use
