**Q: Are these waterproof? - it says 'light rain'....**
A: Wore them for snow which they are great for.  Can't vouch for them being totally waterproof

**Q: My wife is a size 5 (uk) and needs wide fit in shoes etc. Would these be ideal for her? Or would i have order a size up or down**
A: I have wide feet and Sorel come up quite small.  I bought one my usual size and another half size larger and sent the one that wasn't comfortable back.  Amazon are very good like that.

**Q: Fleece inside?**
A: It's a wool insert which is sooo warm and cosy better than fluffy.

**Q: Are they lace up**
A: Yes easy to get on and one tug on the laces and they tighten.

I sized up to allow for thick socks for my Iceland trip, but these boots are so wonderfully warm that you won’t need very thick socks. They are excellent for snow and ice conditions. My only issue is that the boot cuff is made from canvas which folds in on itself and can cause rubbing on the ankle. I folded my socks over which resolved the issue, but it’s not ideal. Otherwise totally seam sealed and waterproof and warm.

Bought for a ski trip but will definitely be making use of them in the uk winters too - they look cool and feel cosy.I got them at a discounted price & I’m really pleased with the quality, they feel like they will last a long time.
